I used to sometimes travel through the Guymon area. Some of the most rugged remote country I have ever seen.
I would have loved living there but my wife would never have agreed.

I worked out of Garden City, KS but took every opportunity to go down there. One time I was going to Boise City and was asking directions in Guymon.
A guy told me that was where the fence was.
When I asked him what fence, he told me that it was the one which keeps people from falling off the edge of the Earth.

Here in NY we’ve had constant rain and snow for the last month (really since December). Winter just won’t let go.
