Crud. I hate fire season. Good wishes to all those folks in the way.
And I especially hate windy fire season.
Here, I was threatened Friday by one grass / forest fire a few miles away, with me directly upwind in 60MPH gusts and 40mph sustained. Fortunately they got it slowed down, and mostly out over the weekend.
Then yesterday another one started on the other side of the mountain. ;-( and the winds are back up in the 40s this afternoon.
Same conditions used to burn out that Waco compound.
