Somehow when Clinton dropped bombs from 15,000 feet for 75 consecutive days onto mostly civilians, it was seen as a positive by our press. IIRC this was a wag the dog that got Monica off the front pages.
I don’t know about the chemical weapons use near Damascus.
There were chemical weapons used in Afrin. That is a Fact. And it was not done by Assad. That was done by Turkey surrogates. Nusra signature. There were previous incidents in NE Syria. That one could have been Assad, but friends told me it was al Qaeda and the components came from Turkey.
I have no doubt that what was blown up was a threat to Israel or to the US forces. The same was true with the strike last year.
You may like Assad, but he does not have clean hands either. That is why Turkey attacked Afrin. It was allowed.
Assad is owned by Iran. They don’t come any worse than their terrorists.
