You should also know that most farmers today when applying chemicals ride in an airconditioned cab with filtered air.

Really the only time they are directly exposed to the chemicals is when they are mixing the chemical in the applicator tank.

You breathe and eat chemicals every day, otherwise you wouldn't be alive. Many of those chemicals are toxic, but they come in such minute quantities that they pose no health risk. As it has been since the beginning of time, the dosage makes the posion. The difference between medicine and poison is the dose.
