The obvious solution is to make anything and everything illegal.

That’s true. Water can be an obsession. But pot, as a chemical, isn’t in itself.

Pot isn’t addictive in the mood altering drugs category. Alcohol, cocaine,heroin and meth are your abused and dependency drugs. Pot....not so much. Pot smokers aren’t likely to knock off a 711 to fund their habit.

I think it defines addiction.

Opiates physically bond with receptors in your nervous system. If that connection is stopped you get physically ill as you go through withdrawal.

Psychological addiction is a different thing.
