Read my comment again. I wasn’t supporting offshoring. I HATE it. Illegal H1B acts are made without prosecution all the time.
Trumps needs to get on this immediately.

Some of foreign folks employed are quite bright.
No argument there, but the landscape is littered with the failures of off-shoring, and where it has been successful, the cost differential is not all that great because of the vast sums of money that US companies must invest to insure software quality and delivery at an respectible amount of time.

While I favor stronger restrictions on bringing in the cheaper foreign labor, it really won’t accomplish much since the big tech companies can easily and fairly cheaply move the jobs to India or China or some other third world country. Somewhat. A bunch of companies have discovered how horribly inefficient and ultimately destructive to business offshoring is. Get rid of H1B, and you really are putting a big dent in this crap.
