“Also Frankfurt is a big transit airport, so they bring indians, Africans etc. to help Indians, Africans disembark”

That’s ridiculous. So you’re saying it makes sense to hire only co-nationals of visitors to interact with said visitors?

I can safely tell you that I have never met an American working at the security checkpoints in FRA or at the ticket counters, gates or pretty much anywhere there. So, uh, if they’re trying to put familiar faces in front of the passengers, there’s one group they forgot: white English speakers.

To the first -- yes, they use native speakers of various Asian and African languages.

To the second, yes, I've seen many white folks at the desks for Lufthansa at FRA on flights heading towards the UK or US and strangely enough also on flights heading towards Asia

-------

As to the number of Muslims -- yes, that is a serious problem. Any number greater than 0 is a serious problem

The Frankfurt foreigners are mostly EU citizens, so with the exception of Muslims, that is not a big deal for world city.

Germany as we know it has been Germanic for 2000 years, but not all of it -- Frankfurt yes, but the east was Slavic and arguably still are Slavic ethnically but Germanized over the centuries

To Moscow -- no one in Eastern Europe or East Asia wants to fly Aeroflot. They prefer a flight from Tokyo to Helsinki or even Tokyo to Warsaw (I recently flew the latter)

In France it's still - you need to speak French to get anywhere.

You can say what you want. The fact is, there are no mass hordes of French, German, English or even Americans trying to take up residence in the s**thole countries of Africa and the Middle East, they all come to formerly European countries: America included. No one is suggesting their homelands get overrun with foreigners, just ours. - not now, but roll back 200 years and the opposite did happen. But no, you're not supposed to roll over. What you are supposed to do is convert them -- but that is difficult in the case of Germany that has given up its religion (in most places except Bawaria)

I have been flying into and out of Frankfurt since 1972.

NOT ONCE have I met an American employee of Lufthansa, and I have not just flown on that carrier for hundreds of thousands of miles (I recommend the A340 flight out of Munchen, First Class on that airplane is fabulous), but my family has had friends who are / were Lufthansa employees for over 50 years.

The will admit that once or twice I talked to people who seemed American at the United gates, but usually they are the Pursers from the flight itself, so they aren’t domiciled in Frankfurt. They just get off the airplane inbound and help with the onboarding for the outbound.

Other then that the only Americans in the airport are the armies of American travelers.

As for the statement “What you are supposed to do is convert them”, we in America have spent a couple hundred years assimilating people. I can safely tell you it used to be ruthless: speak English and get on our side or get out. So we don’t need any instruction on that point, we have the one country on the planet where that concept was fine tuned.

But it doesn’t work on everyone: if they are too distant ethnically and politically, they can only be digested in small bites, if at all.

And 2 million Muslims are not gonna go down well in post-Christian Deutschland.

As for 200 years ago at the height of Colonialism, that was a different world, nicht wahr?

And if the evils of Colonialism is the excuse for Muslim occupation of central Europe, why is that? Didn’t the colonialists leave?

To the last question, I never stated that And if the evils of Colonialism is the excuse for Muslim occupation of central Europe, why is that? Didn’t the colonialists leave?

Where did you get that?

Colonialism took many forms varying by country and even by time-period:English colonization in Malaysia had a better result fo rthe locals than Dutch for instance. And English colonization during the Hanoverian era was quite different from that during the Victorian

The influx of Muslims into France and England was as these places granted citizenship to their former colonies. Remember that Algeria was france (for instance) legally, not a colony. Also note that this is a reversal of the initial outflow of French and Scottish and English to the colonies in Asia and Africa

As to the Muslim influx (not occupation) of Germany, this is two-fold: 1. the guest-worker program inviting Turks in the 60s and 2. Merkels open invitation in 2015

Germany had only Togo, Namibia and Samoa for a short period of time and were brutal in Namibia, but that has no relation to the inflow of non-Germans

the present day inflow is primarily because of the open-door policy of Merkel.

In small bites yes, but it is not as pessimistic as "if at all". Also large scale conversion has been done in the past and can be done if not for the smallll problem of democracy...
