President Trump whisked a “little piece of dandruff” off French President Emmanuel Macron’s suit Tuesday morning during a state visit at the White House.
Trump gushed about his friendship with Macron before leaning over and using his index finger to flick the French leader’s jacket.
“They’re all saying what a great relationship we have and they’re actually correct. It’s not fake news … But we do have a very special relationship,” Trump told reporters. “In fact, I’ll get that little piece of dandruff off. We have to make him perfect. He is perfect.”

This just proves that Trump didn’t have hookers pee on a hotel room bed. Obviously he is a festidious, is that how you spell it?, person.
Exactly right. It's part of having street smarts. Even if you're generally on good terms with someone, pointing out a tiny flaw in someone (even in jest) puts you at an advantage over them. On the street, even this tiny tactic works to your advantage in influence among your common peers and in competing for a mate. In politics and business, it puts you at an advantage in other ways. Trump gets things done because he has street smarts.
Sounded like a joke to me.
