They have a 1st Amendment right to spend all their billions on political speech, advocating whatever they wish.
But, combined, they are only 3 or 4 votes.
And Republicans would do damn well to remember that.
If ANYTHING resembling an amnesty reaches the floor of either house, political slaughter will ensue. And on such grand scale as to earn a spot next to the Fall of Rome in western history.
The mood of the electorate is FAR more strident than even 5 years ago.
