Which is...?
...NOTHING short of Global Totalitarian Government which will really be the countdown of the end of the Age.
They are the deceivers and are the deceived. They are the deluded. They are the poster children of those who say, "I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing [including God]" (Rev. 3:17).
What they don't know is they are "wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked" (id.). The Left is driven by the very spirit of antichrist and those who do not repent and turn to Christ ("buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see" Rev. 3:18) will usher in the darkest most terrifying time the world has ever seen - after Christ takes his saints outta here - in a few decades IMO.
