France said on Tuesday that new claims about Iran’s nuclear program from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reinforced the importance of a the 2015 deal.

In an elaborate televised presentation on Monday, the hawkish Israeli leader claimed he had new “proof” via captured documents that Iran had developed a nuclear weapons plan which could be activated at any time.

The French foreign ministry said the details needed to be “studied and evaluated”, but a spokesperson added that the evidence appeared to confirm what European powers had known for more than a decade and half.

“At first sight, they (the details) confirm that part of the Iranian nuclear program, as France and its partners stated during the first revelations in the summer of 2002, was not civilian,” said the spokesperson in a statement received by AFP. […]

“The inspection regime put in place by the (UN nuclear watchdog) IAEA thanks to the deal is one of the most exhaustive and the most robust in the history of nuclear non-proliferation,” the statement added. …

Iran doesn’t care about that. Their eschatology with respect to the Mahdi actually has them believing that a nuclear conflagration will result in Allah’s salvation coming sooner rather than later; the earth can cook so long as their souls fly straight to “Jannah” (the Koranic “seventh heaven” where all those 72 virgins are supposed to be).

So lying to the American People and Congress to approve something that they wouldn’t have approved otherwise is ok.

F-off France.

You must have gotten lost on the way to a different forum, then. FR is pro-Israel. And an “America” that cares nothing for its allies is no America at all, but is just like the other godless countries on the planet.

No need to repeat canned rhetoric that comes out of the left that tries to masquerade as “right” and drive a wedge between the USA and its sole actual ally in the Levant. We’ve heard it all before. Stop trying to precipitate Zechariah 14.

This is actually Weimarism part deux, with the crises ratcheted up beyond what happened in the past and far beyond German borders.

We do not have free and total access to Iranian Military Installations and areas of nuclear research to assure that their nuclear program is not continuing. If the program was not continuing they would grant total access on demand. They would have nothing to hide if the program was not still in progress. We do not have free and total access.

The only logical explanation is their nuclear program to attain atomic bombs is continuing.

I myself wonder if Kim of North Korea has not already sold them the bombs? He has a few.

Peace only comes from overwhelming military superiority. No foe will challenge if he is sane. If he is insane, much death will follow and in the end he will be crushed and die along with his nation. It is that simple through the ages of peace and war.

Oddly we hear much about Roman conquest and wars. In reality the Roman Empire was rather peaceful without war. They had military dominance. Rome fell due to internal corruption. I fear the same for my nation. Man has not changed.

Well yes, the Romans did expand via big commerce, offering citizenship and those agreements with client states.

And they were merciless towards rebels, e.g. Jerusalem in 70 AD. We would not have the name “Judæa” replaced with “Palæstina” before such.

I guess this would have been saying that having the Germans invade France in 1940 and the subsequent occupation kept the Frenchies safe.

The 2008 financial debacle that the EU provoked did not get them the big power grab that they wanted, so this is Plan B.

I thought the 2008 debacle was triggered by mortgage derivatives speculation, encouraged by US brokerage houses such as Bear Stearns, Lehman, and Merrill Lynch. My view is informed by books such as "The Sellout" (Charles Gasparino, and "The Big Short" (Michael Lewis), among others. The Europeans certainly participated, but the creation of these dodgy instruments was mostly a US innovation, encouraged by foolish government rules on housing (such as the Community Reinvestment Act).

Whatever the reason, if our getting out of European matters also leads them to clean house on their Muslim infection, I'd view it as a positive. We can kiss and make up later... or not.

The bigger reason was actually the European Central Bank raising interest rates.

Not to mention, there are already plans in place to deal with the Mahometan “infection”. The EU rules by crisis. If the USA gets out, they get to build themselves into what they planned to be all along, that being an enemy of the USA.
