Hillary’s much-mocked “Russian reset” established the tone for the Clintons’ coziness with the Kremlin. On March 6, 2009, during a trip to Geneva, she presented Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov a small, red button. Hillary thought it was emblazoned with the Russian word for “reset.” Her team mistranslated and the button actually read “overload.” Nonetheless, Clinton and Lavrov jointly pressed the symbolic button. And a new era in U.S.–Russian relations erupted.

While visiting Moscow on March 24, 2010, Secy Hillary explained the Reset’s purpose: “Our goal (meaning Obama) is to help strengthen Russia.”

How the heck do they do it, Comey and Schiff? Each can deliver a string of half-truths, contradictions, outlandish obfuscations, distortions, misrepresentations, and even preposterously self-serving whoppers in a way – and here's the monkey trick – that makes him seem, on balance, and taken as a whole...reasonable.

It’s the way they do it. It’s their mannerisms. They’ve perfected them over a lifetime of getting feedback from the people that they are trying to deceive.

You will notice when you watch an interview of someone like Comey, they will generally look pensive and thoughtful. Not too aggressive and not too assuming. They sound like they are informed. They want you to think they are an expert on whatever they speak on, but not like some presumptuous know-it-all. They are not meek or timid, but they definitely know not how to move the need on people who are used to blowback and defiance from an interviewee.

If you are looking, you can see the smugness.
But you have to be looking.
It’s all about your personal motivation.
A liberal host asking questions, and a liberal audience, they have different motivations. They are not searching his face. They see a sympathetic character on their side of an information war. They are searching is words. They are looking for those gems to fall on their ears that play to their hatred of Trump. Everything else is noise to ignore.

“What a snake. I knew it the moment I laid eyes on him. The guy is a grifter and he’s just out for himself. I wouldn’t trust him to take out the trash.”
