I was on a US Navy ship and we had a “Phantom Sh#ter”; only when we were tied up at dock, never when underway.
Our division would post watches during the night before a big inspection. There were rewards offered in the Plan of the Day for apprehension of the idiot.
He, (it was only He in those days) was never caught.
Although I’m tempted to make a joke line and then move on, I will instead ask a question after setting up the question:
OK, so the guy poops in public areas, then goes to work. There is no mention of anyone finding any - ahem - used toilet paper nearby. So, the question is simply, didn’t anyone smell him and suspect there was a problem?
