15 in 8th grade equates to flunking out once. Which, back when you actually had to apply yourself to your studies wasn’t uncommon, but it wasn’t that, neither. Flaking out in a system such as we witness these days is nearly impossible but I guess it does happen.

I graduated High School at 17 like most of my Classmates.

Eight Grade is full of 13 Year Olds unless things have changed since I was young.

I would say he flunked out twice. Twice in 8 years is quite a feat.
