I absolutely love Bray’s essays and I wouldn’t keep posting them even though I disagree with them from time to time. That should be normal for any group of friends, no?

On the other hand, I support Humblegunner’s war on blog pimps.

This is Jim Rob’s site. Post the whole article but don’t pimp your site on his without his permission. Plain fact.

“all in all good”

Sounds to be a hell of a lot better than good! 20 pound Mahi-Mahi is worth flying in from all points around the globe. Not many fresh fish can match mahi grilled over mesquite charcoal.

I will make the crowd a transparency and put it into the bottom of the Capitol. Make flags USA instead of blue, makes signs with text “MAGA” on them.

Any designers out there?

Please help!!!

Would such “not-laws” make the DOJ a dictatorship of sorts?

Yes, it means they can pretty much do anything they want by simply declaring it so.

Justice Ellis needs to consider that and stop it right now.

Whoever thought America would become tyrannized by the Justice Department?

Well, yeah, we’re not going to let THAT happen!

I don’t like the atmospheric effect of the projecting light/shadow emanating from ground up view of the Rotendrum. It reminds me of some of the old Communist propaganda posters of the past. Perhaps the light source should come from the upper right?

Ok.

Would you want to take a stab at designing this for me, please?

I’m using PostImages.com (free service) to host the image.

I read the transcripts of hearing before Judge Ellis. SC reps seem to be saying that DOJ regs on Special Counsels are not “the law” (not statutes by Congress) but are just department policy or regs. Meaning Mueller is ignoring DOJ guidelines (obviously raiding attorneys office and homes of peaceful folks). Judge is highly educated. He will see this as a denial of Equal Protection and Due Process for citizen Trump, as everyone else gets protection from DOJ restraints and safeguards. Mueller is also gobbling up AG power which Sessions did not recuse himself from. It may be OK with Rod (because he is enjoying this) but Sessions could wake up at any moment ande reel them all in, fire them, etc.

Mueller is bound by DOJ guidelines. 28 CFR 600.7

Failure to abide by those, including failure to recuse on conflict of interest, is grounds for dismissal. id. Part (d)

The Attorney General may remove a Special Counsel for misconduct, dereliction of duty, incapacity, conflict of interest, or for other good cause, including violation of Departmental policies.

N.b., for purposes of Mueller's appointment and conduct, Rosenstein is AG. See 28 CFR 600.1(a) for the substitution of DAG for AG.

The judge cannot remove Mueller from his assignment in general. He can, however, rule that Mueller lacks jurisdiction for this case.

-- ... but Sessions could wake up at any moment ande reel them all in, fire them, etc. --

Yes. And he may already have somebody working on a review of the cases to see the correspondence and lack of correspendence between his recusal and what Mueller is handling. He can order cases to be reassigned, except cases that are against the Trump campaign - those he is recused from.

They just say it. BOOM! It becomes the truth.

I think you hit it Pat. The creation of truth is what the bad guys are all about. We wind up having to make them prove all the lies and made up stuff is real.Like what is going on now with the Russian BS.

By the time we do they have a new op they are running. Quite the viscous circle.

Then maybe you can get the best of both worlds. Humblegunner can write the Sunday editorial since he is such a great writer and thinks I am just a slimy egotistical blogger who needs a kick in the balls.

Next Sunday will be by humblegunner and let us see what a real writer looks like. Just send your editorial to Alas the night before so he can post it for the thousand of readers to enjoy. Let’s see how thick your skin is.

I doubt there is anything the left has on Sessions. I think it’s all Trump being ten steps ahead and doing it so well we don’t even see it.

When fishing is red hot down here dolphin/mahi-mahi are the low-end fish that all the restaurants carry since they are cheap.

If prepared right they are great table fare. But then so is grouper, almost every snapper we have and so many other fish.We are truly blessed with a great fishery here.

The biggest dolphin can often be found in the
Bahamas and are near 80 lbs.
We had one last week down here close to 50 lbs. caught with Capt. Joe Petrucco, great fish, photos were stellar.Slammers usually start around 20 lbs. with super slammers over 30.

Great post. The Press has way too much power and I think they have finally over-stepped with Trump.

Plus, Trump is fighting back which they never expected.

I have wondered for years why Nixon is generally assumed to be a bad guy. He was not a bad guy.. I still can’t figure out what he did that was so wrong. The only honorable person in that whole ugly saga was G. Gordon Liddy.
