Politically, they never actually beat their opponents into the ground. They never defeat anyone. But the truth remains that they still exist. If they _lost_ any of those wars, they would not exist.
Not true. Lebanon in 2006 didn't end in victory for Israel.
All I'm cautioning is this: Israel has not won a war in decades. So let's not assume they're going to win a war with Iran.
If Netanyahu gets the war he's been threatening for twenty years, it's very likely we will be called upon to help.
I'd prefer to give them American treasure, but not American blood. We have already left more than enough of this in the sands of the Middle East.
