White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Friday confirmed that Kelly Sadler, the top White House aide accused of joking about Sen. John McCain's death in a staff meeting Thursday, is still employed by the administration. But Sanders otherwise repeatedly declined to comment on the reported remark, or how President Trump views McCain, who is being treated for brain cancer.

As The Hill first reported and other publications later confirmed, Sadler, in a conversation about McCain's disapproval of Mr. Trump's pick to run the CIA, said, "It doesn't matter, he's dying anyway." But Sanders declined to comment further, and only divulged Sadler's employment status after she was pressed about it a second time.

"I'm not gonna' comment on an internal staff meeting," Sanders said multiple times, when reporters prodded her as to whether the White House believes it should address those remarks.

And I can confirm that John McCain, who has repeatedly insulted POTUS Trump, still has a job.

Not much of a joke. More like a statement of fact.

I guess the media isn’t comfortable with facts.

And insulting McPain is an unforgivable offense because??

He’s a small, angry and bitter man - as evidenced in his treatment of Gina Haspel.

What goes around comes around.

Give her a promotion. Have the Governor of Arizona name her as McCain’s replacement when he checks out.

If it was an internal staff meeting, there is a mole.

Hell, it was THE TRUTH. McCain’s opinion doesn’t matter...he won’t be voting on the nominee. He hasn’t voted for or against anything since December when he left DC and he hasn’t been back. He’ll never cast another vote in the Senate. He’s achieved irrelevance.

What’s all the fuss? Truth be known, anything that John McCain says or utters means nothing. Why? The Trump staff woman told the truth...John McCain is dying and number two, his spoken words mean zilch because unless he gets his butt up to Washington, DC, he cannot vote for or against any bill or item up for a Senate vote.

The low life McCain, disabled for months, has denied the voters of Arizona an active Senate vote. He should have gracefully, with dignity and honor, resigned to allow someone other then him to represent the voters of Arizona.

This McCain dude is the lowest form of humanity and he cares only for himself, not the people he is supposed to represent.

It’s an honest statement. And it all depends on her tone. AND...it’s out of context. Sounds like “Cat fight in the Whitehouse”. I’d fire the two who went to the press.
