Those mediots were self selected. The point is that with all the media being concentrated in New York and the entertainment industry being in LA, they completely lose touch with America preferring their own urban leftist coastal bubbles. The problem is as much cultural as it is ideological.
Want to keep touch with the actual country? Get the hell out of New York.
I understand and appreciate where you are coming from. I really wish Upstate NY could withdraw from downstate. In the county where I grew up (and still reside part-time) the 2nd Amendment is alive and well, and the average Jane and Joe are solid red.
