From 2007?
I believe some of the senior people close to Trump were very suspicious of him all along, and he was dumped as campaign manager when Kellyanne Conway and Steve Bannon took on key roles in August 2016.
“More BS from Mueller. “
Hey Jeff, are ye proud of yourself eh mate? You asshole.y
Wonderfully said, and both absolutely and fundamentally true.
As a juror I would be skeptical of any testimony from a month old ex-son-in-law of the defendant especially with the persecutor narrating his testimony.
What annoyed me was that in bringing in Manafort Trump essentially seemed to, in my opinion, make a deal with the devil; the devil being more establishment political tactics than Manafort himself.
While I understood the political arguments you reiterated it was a pivotal point away from 'a brash outsider breaking all the rules' to 'let's go full establishment'.
I admit when it happened it made me question Trump.
Was the 'outsider' image all an act? Was this the real 'establishment' Trump?
To me Manafort was an unnecessary evil that he turned to in a moment of weakness and bad establishment strategy and bad political establishment advice.
I believe Trump had a moment of doubt fed by establishment insiders and he stumbled.
He's now paying the price.
Go back and remember the campaign, though. As I recall, Trump really didn’t start on his “drain the Swamp” tirade until late in the campaign when he was doing multiple rallies every day from late September through Election Day.
“in a sealed proceeding”
How does this work?
“Cooperating with Federal investigators” means that he’s going to say whatever they want to hear in order to keep is ass from going to jail.
