Who told you this? Israel, contrary to what many may think, has strict gun control.
Agreed. Decades of leftist indoctrination have destroyed the country.
One report said this shooter was using a sawed-off shotgun. If true, I guess it means there should be some kinda law against these weapons.
I’m calling Democratic Underground a terrorist organization, and their members should be treated accordingly.

But I did see the headline that says: "Israel proves the NRA's arguments"
and - "When terrorists attacked a school in Maalot in 1974, Israel did not declare every school a gun-free zone. It passed a law mandating armed security in schools, provided weapons training to teachers and today runs frequent active shooter drills. I’ve spent some time there and I agree with the comments below on the article, but the comments below are from the comments section since you couldn’t get them for some reason.

It contains numerous false and misleading statements that runs counter to those by Israel’s gov’t spokespeople.
Starting with the ‘fact’ that most terrorist attacks in Israel are stopped by citizens not trained guards, or the school attacks were stopped by armed teachers, or strict gun control laws have been loosened and do not work.
I dont have time to answer every ridiculous statement by this American but here’s a couple please check them with actual Israeli gov’t officials.
An armed guard was placed in schools in 1995 not 1974 nor are guns issued to teachers.
No one is allowed to get a gun “at will” indeed anyone over 27 who has not been in the military must undergo the same extensive mental and technical training as all military recruits, who don’t get to keep their guns after service at age 21. They too have their lisc renewed every 3 yrs, conduct yearly practise drills, get mental physical health evals from their MD as do all police/military/security etc.
They didn’t loosen laws for security guards taking pistols home, they tightened them after a number of domestic abuse incidents.
Their suicide, homicide rates are far lower than the US or many countries for that matter..
Even the number of bullets they’re allowed to purchase is limited to 50 or 100 if in security forces.
