While I know Cox to be a good guy, I cannot go so far as to say that he would be a better governor than Ronald Reagan. I'd be happy if he was a better governor than Pete Wilson!

I’d be happy if he gets to be governor. The though of any of the dem candidates should send a cold chill down the spine.

he’ll be the best Governor you’ve ever had.

He would have to be a miracle worker to get anything done with California’s single party legislature.

Unfortunately, not even Trump can get a Republican elected Governor in California at this point. Mass immigration legal and not has guaranteed Democrat rule in California for a generation at least.

Two counties in Cali produce too much voter fraud.

I myself, thought that Pete Wilson was the problem in California, the reason that nobody else has won since him, from the GOP.

He was an old version of the show. The old style of the party.

Just like the old style of the GOP was running in every single opponent of Donald Trump.

I think what happened in California, would have happened in America if one of those other guys would have somehow been elected.

Although I believe Hillary would have beaten any of them. They were all sell-outs. Globalists.

Trump is different. I believe he has brought the GOP back to the big leagues.

And not a moment too soon. California, may be lost.

Maybe.

Sadly I don’t think we do deserve a good governor - we are getting exactly what we deserve and more is on the way. However the weather is nice, surprising how far that goes. I’m just not so good with the cold.

See what reaching across the aisle, bipartisanship, and being "moderate" has gotten CA Republicans.

They've moderated themselves out of near existence. Why in the Hell would you want to be an identical clone of your opponent, just to please the media and liberal activist groups. They are not going to vote for you anyway. Meanwhile, the people that vote Republican will always get discouraged and stay home.

Yeah, Republicans would still lose by standing their ground on conservative/libertarian principles in CA. But at least you have drawn a sharp contrast to your opponent, and down the road, voters will wise up and won't make that same mistake again.

the Dems in the state have made it next to impossible for a republican to get elected for any state wide race...there are two many republicans running for governor. I am urging everyone from my state to get behind cox because to win only the top two people can run for governor and if we split our vote the choice will be two Dems come the election

I have been on the fence as to whether vote for Cox or Travis Allen as both seem solidly Conservative. I will look a Cox more closely now. I hope Trump did his homework before endorsing him.

Sooner or later the Mexicans are going to want a governor of their own now that CA is a Mexican colony.

Cox is mostly conservative, but he is definitely not a polished politician.

He even a little weird.

But he’s the best GOP candidate in CA for Governor who has even a snowball’s chance in hell to make a run of it.

And, that’s the only chance he has.

IMO, there won’t be a Republican on the November ballot on election day.
