And liberals used to say “question authority” and “free Tibet”. Now they say “Obey Obama” and “I hate Trump”. The worst things they see happening in the world are Republicans and CO2. If they had a soul, it’s gone now.

Toni Basil was a one hit wonder from the early 80’s with an annoying song called ‘Hey Mickey’.
Tina Fey had exactly one character that caught on with SNL, Sarah Palin.
Even her ‘Weekend Update’ segments were panned and they had to give her a co-host.
Tina was one of SNL’s best writers. She did the heavy lifting for 30 Rock, or whatever that TV series was. She’s also made several movies. Not bad for a one hit wonder.
Definitely. It was a good show for the first 3 years or so. It was a bit revolutionary for its time. The SNL commercials were fun. Ackroyd and Belushi rocked.
Done Trick Pony.
Never.
I very reluctantly voted for Mister Isms in 2000, although I enthusiastically demonstrated for his Electoral victory in front of a major leftist university.
After he sent our soldiers to die while opening our borders and stripping our freedoms, I refused to vote for him in 2004.
Prescott rules that house from the grave.
“Mm. That’s great bass!”
It was very revolutionary.
And a lot of fun, most of the time.
Yes, the Bass-O_Matic was pure gold.
The commercials were a hoot.
I loved the "Little chocolate donuts" bit.
Some of the early years were not that funny, many misses for every hit.
For pure laughs, I would actually say that the late '80s early '90s were the best.
Who can top Phil Hartman and Dana Carvey?
Sure there was politics, but it wasn't JUST politics, and it didn't have the "mean" edge.
They went for the laughs first, politics a far second.
And before Alec Baldwin went full-retard "hate Trump", he was a terrific host.
Very witty and clever.
Now he's just a cranky, unfunny jerk.
Mean Girls, which she wrote the screen play for and starred in, was better than just about any of the movies driven by SNL characters.
(The other adults in the movie were pretty much all SNL alumni, Tim Meadows, Ana Gasteyer, Amy Poehler.)
