Yes, I remember. I also remember when the history channel was about history, the weather channel was about weather, and MTV played music videos. Back then, I think, CNN even showed news.
About the only thing that has stayed true to form is Turner Classic Movies, although "classic" has started to creep up into what I would call the modern era (but that just shows how old I'm getting).
And liberals used to say “question authority” and “free Tibet”. Now they say “Obey Obama” and “I hate Trump”. The worst things they see happening in the world are Republicans and CO2. If they had a soul, it’s gone now.
