“democracy threatening”
An unAmerican tell. Anyone that calls us a democracy is suspect.
“...and to the republic for which it stands.”
That mistake drives me crazy. The United States is a republic not a democracy.
I’m old enough to remember having to recite the Pledge of Allegiance every morning at school. I guess those days are over.
