From the article:
“As the letter from conservative leaders to Jim Jordan pointed out, The present House Republican leadership has proven that its part of the Swamp. Consequently, a vote to promote any member of todays House GOP leadership is a vote for the Swamp. Its time to Clean House.
But more to the point about who should be the next Speaker, what about those House Republicans who are in tight races and will be forced to make the choice between the pro-amnesty, open borders Kevin McCarthy and the former Chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, fight to build the Wall now, defund Planned Parenthood no questions asked Jim Jordan?”
Jim Jordan should announce this and then go on a media blitz tour
I never did understand why Ryan didn’t resign his Speakership when he announced his Retirement from the House. Once he came out with that announcement, he became a Lame Duck and should have stepped aside to let someone else take over.
Paul Ryan was “installed” in the first place, just like Pope Francis.
Somewhat off topic, but unless and until the Republican leadership (party bosses) are replaced with real Americans, we are never going to have the party it should be.
Rove, et.al., should all be gone.
Make it to Election Day? It would have been nice if he packed his sh*t about 18 months ago, at least?
Can you say Cantored?
Hey paul, just get out ya mookabooker
Will Paul Ryan start missing his family more, his dog, ...will he resign yet earlier???
Novembers a long way off, when you miss your dog.
(Or, you fear indictment.)

McCarthy is no better and Scalise only marginally better. Jim Jordan likely father 218 votes.
Jim Jordan is just outstanding, as far as I am concerned. I suppose I would like to see him speaker but if it comes at the cost of his outspokenness and “maverick” quality (to hijack Dirtbag McCain’s undeserved trademark) I would definitely prefer not.
Great grey hair, little grey matter.
If we are cleaning House, then why do we need someone who was ever connected to the Establishment?
Ryan’s a lame duck: of course he’s losing his “grip” ...
Mulvaney is doing. Great job NOW. But he was riding the Open Borders Express in South Carolina. Only Jeff Duncan has refrained.
