Larry, I follow you all the time on your Twitter feed, and also check out sundance at thelastrefuge2 as well as a couple of others. One thing I wanted to tell you that I haven't heard discussed too much on Twitter is this:

You don't wake up one day and decide to do something like these folks (Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Yates, McCabe, etc.) did this time to Trump. You don't dare try to pull this off with this big a team on your first go-round. The willingness to do this evolves slowly over time. I bet these guys have been doing this for many, many years, and have been doing "About Queries" on leading GOP candidates for years.

I bet they did this to Romney, and almost certainly did it to Rubio, Cruz, Carson, etc. And by "this" I mean dig up dirt using the 702 "About Queries" and their favorite private contractor. I bet they have a huge database.

I sure hope at the end of all this, someone has called for a retrospective SC investigation going back at least 4-8 years.

How is it that anyone thinks that this guy is easily snowed? On top of everything else, he is literally awake and thinking about how to outsmart his opponents while they are in bed, sleeping. -------- LOL

Bottom line: we’re NOT seeing all of the cards here...because Trump isn’t going to let his opponents see them until it is too late for them to do anything about what he has planned for them. Most likely the DOJ was simply reciting their rules about things that they redact.

Excerpt from the Rosenstein letter:

We are individually reviewing the remaining documents to ensure that they do not include grand jury information, information about ongoing law enforcement actions involving American citizens, or privileged attorney-client communications.

I would think that listing the three reasons for redaction is standard procedure and that it would neither confirm nor deny the existence of the three items, that a grand jury exists, that there is an ongoing law enforcement action and that there are attorney-client communications.
