Key congressional leaders are set to meet Thursday with federal law enforcement and intelligence bosses amid a slow-motion standoff over secret documents in the Russia investigation, the White House said on Tuesday.
Press secretary Sarah Sanders said that the White House had brokered a meeting at which two key Republican chairmen would hear from the leaders of the Justice Department, FBI and the intelligence community following weeks' worth of requests for the classified material.
No one from the White House is scheduled to be present, Sanders said — nor, at this point, are any senators or any Democrats, in defiance of a request from the Senate minority leader.
The members of Congress set to attend are Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., the chairman of the House intelligence committee, and Rep. Trey Gowdy, chairman of the House Oversight Committee.

Bad move excluding them. They are back peddling and on the ropes - why give them a talking point. Besides, everything should relating to this needs to be made public now. Let the chips fall where they may.

Reading the biased presentation by NPR was sickening. I only got through a few paragraphs. One would think that PDJT was a mafia leader and the FBI/DOJ were saints. Pure propaganda.

Many of the democrats are having apoplectic seizures over being kicked to the curb over this. However, as enemies of the Republic, they have no reason to be present.
They will find out the content of the meeting either though the FBI, THE DOJ, or other leakers. Look for what happened in the MSM tomorrow one way or another
Rep. Devin Nunes and Rep. Trey Gowdy should walk to the door and look in - if there are not separate piles of documents for each participant they should turn and walk away.
