For the past two months, a campaign orchestrated by national anti-immigrant hate group the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) and its legal arm the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) has mobilized a small but vocal group of activists hell-bent on pushing city council members in Orange County, and other parts of southern California, to take a stance against the state’s sanctuary policies.
IRLI enlisted support from cities to attach their name to an amicus brief it filed in opposition to California’s Values ACT SB54, a law preventing state and local law enforcement agencies from using money or personnel to investigate or detain persons based on their immigration status. Other options for cities to fight back include filing their own suits, passing an ordinance to not comply with SB54. FAIR has offered “advice and legal assistance to all jurisdictions," according to a report by the Los Angeles Times. FAIR has also been busy emailing city council members and quietly promising them that their cities will be represented free of charge if they decide to file lawsuits against the state.

The SPLC calls any and every group that disagrees with hard leftist dogma "hate groups." The goal is to deliberately stamp out opposition and destroy free speech and exchange of ideas to give the left as much political advantage as possible.
Yet they can't even bring themselves to call the most violent groups in America 1)Black lives matter-- who kills policemen and advocates their murder along with 2) Antifa the most violent, anti-free speech group of organizations in existence, as hate groups. The SPLC has absolutely no credibility whatsoever.
I couldn’t care less what the SPLC has to say about anything.

The Left desperately wants Americans to be indecent people who go around attacking Muslims and foreigners with funny names, but, by and large, we aren’t. Campus feminists desperately want “rape culture” to be a reality, and so they invent phony rape stories from Duke to the University of Virginia, making sure to target fraternities and sports teams, which are to them symbols of patriarchy. These stories are given currency and credence by incompetent journalists such as Sabrina Erdely and her editors at Rolling Stone, none of whom had the intelligence or grit to question the transparently false claims made in “A Rape on Campus.”

Remember when the left railed against the religious
right for using terms like “Family Values”? Value was a
code word for “bigoted” in their world. Now the
asshat liberals have co-opted the term for their own
purpose. It hit home with me a couple of months ago
when I was in a brief FB exchange with a local lesbian
candidate for county supervisor. She has been a resident
for 3-4 years. The incumbent who is a personal friend
of mine has lived in the area since 1962. My question
to the anti growth lesbo libtard concerned bringing
jobs to the county. She said she supported locals
opening businesses with start-up funds provided. She
said her position was in line with our local “VALUES”.
I think bringing some light manufacturing businesses to
the area would balance out this heavily retirement area
and boost the economy. I responded by pointing out that
my family moved to the area 60 years ago and I didn’t
pretend to understand the “local values” so I don’t
know how she could be so enlightened after 3-4 years.
Our exchange ended.
