Full Title: Michael Cohen's business partner, Evgeny Freidman, agrees to cooperate as part of plea deal:

Evgeny Freidman, a long-time business partner of President Donald Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen, has agreed to cooperate with federal and state prosecutors, The New York Times reported.

Cohen is under criminal investigation by federal prosecutors in New York City.

A $130,000 hush-money payment Cohen made porn star Stormy Daniels is among the issues being eyed by prosecutors.

Evgeny Freidman, a business partner of President Donald Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors, The New York Times reported Tuesday.

That cooperation by the "Taxi King" Freidman could spell very bad news for Cohen, who is the subject of an ongoing criminal investigation by federal prosecutors in New York City.

The Times suggested that Freidman's cooperation "could be used as leverage to pressure Cohen to work with the special counsel," Robert Mueller, "examining Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election."

Freidman, 46, pleaded guilty Tuesday to evading taxes in court in Albany County. He agreed to pay restitution and judgments totaling $5 million to New York State, according to New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood...

This is the latest Trump-ending fantasy off of the Left’s conveyor belt of false hope that started rolling around 9 pm on election night, with empty promises of “outstanding votes in Broward County” — and has since delivered additional boxes of air labeled “Jill Stein Recount”, “Faithless Electors”, “Russian Collusion”, “Obstruction”, etc.

Anyone heavily invested in taxi medallions in NYC lost almost all their investment.

In 2013 / 2014 Taxi Medallions in NY sold for up to $1.3 million! Then Uber and Lyft came along; medallions sell now for as low as $186,000! Several small banks failed solely because they lent on medallions; several bigger banks took huge losses, and most large medallion owners have filed bankruptcy.

It was such a great investment for many years: controlled number of medallions in the largest city in the world with the exclusive right to pick up people when hailed - but then the disruptors came along and ruined the party. The City tried, in vain, to keep Uber and Lyft out, and failed.

No one in the space is unscathed. Unfortunately, a lot of hard working (legal) immigrants lost it all buying a single medallion. Very sad. Then there were the fleet owners (Cohen and partner) who were crushed.

What can this guy tell to Mueller, anyways? Was Cohen sharing some deep dark Trump secrets with him (not likely - if there even were any) or did they just lose their collective investments together? Another tax evasion ploy? Likely nothing to see here.

True story from this morning: saw a local TV news story on Trump. Long story, about three minutes. This Cohen nothingburger was briefly mentioned but not emphasized. The story actually started with a great clip from the President’s speech last night to a pro-life group.

The NEXT hour, same station and same reporter doing the story—the pro-life clip was gone and the FIRST THING was the Cohen nonsense. Speculation and leftist hopes take prominence over direct source information.

Junk.

A $130,000 hush-money payment Cohen made porn star Stormy Daniels is among the issues being eyed by prosecutors.

It's just another non-crime being investigated. Non-disclosure agreements are standard operating procedures for celebrities like Trump, and Cohen was representing him in such matters long before Trump ran for president.

The MSM likes to use the most pejorative terms possible to describe conservatives, to the point of complete misrepresentation.

Yesterday on CNN, Jeffrey Toobin said Nunes's attempt to get DOJ documents relating to the spying on Trump, was an effort to "interfere" with Mueller's investigation.

No, Jeffrey, it's Congressional oversight of the DOJ, which is Congress's cconstitutional power and responsibility.
