A plastic surgeon who filmed herself singing and dancing around the operating table as she performed procedures was accused of leaving a patient with catastrophic brain damage.
Dr. Windell Davis Boutte uploaded over 20 clips of herself prancing around next to patients while singing along to hip-hop tunes.
She even sliced someone open for the camera as Cut It by O.T. Genasis blared out in the background.
Icilma Cornelius suffered heart failure after being pushed into having a pre-wedding tummy tuck at Bouttes clinic in Lilburn, Georgia, in February 2016, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The 55-year-olds heart stopped eight hours into the procedure, but Bouttes office was not equipped to handle the medical emergency and had to call an ambulance.
Paramedics restarted her heart but were delayed in putting her into the ambulance because Boutte had to stitch her skin back together to try to prevent her open wounds from getting infected.
They hit a further snag when the stretcher wouldnt fit in the elevator, forcing them to carry Cornelius down the stairs.
When she finally got to the hospital, doctors diagnosed her with permanent brain damage from lack of oxygen.
She was left severely disabled and will require care for the rest of her life.
He said: She just wanted to be perfect for her wedding dress. She had everything going for her.
Boutte, who has settled five malpractice suits in the last four months, with four more pending, is still working as a cosmetic surgeon.

And people wonder why more people dont contribute to FR......What does the obvious have to do with contributions? Sigh.

Who and what racial issue?
I’ve reviewed previous post. I don’t see any mention of this Dr.s race.
What post number are you referring to?
‘Listening to Brahms would have made a difference?’
get off your high horse; the racial aspect was introduced legislatively with minority set-asides and undeserved fast-tracking...that’s the issue with something like this; someone doing something he/she is totally incapable of doing properly...
The issue is not racial. The comments are directed to a defective incompetent black subculture.
The comments and observations are cultural, not racial.
Gezuz...
So would you have us just ignore the racist (and deadly) antics of this doctor?
That’s what the MSM does. The politically correct snowflakes who think all cultures are equal. That diversity is grand.
But here at FR? WE take a stand for calling a spade a spade. But since you think this adversely affects contributions here at FR, I’ll kick in 10 extra bucks in honor of you and this thread.
Really? How did she make it a racial issue? Listening to Brahms would have made a difference?
><
She made it a racial issue by disgracing her race. What she did is disgraceful and wrong. She should strive to be a credit to the human race. The same as when whites or browns or any others do disgraceful and idiotic things.
Did you get lost on your way to Democratic Underground?
“I dont even need to open up the link to know the race of this scumbag...”
After seeing the look on her face, and watching the gyrations, etc., I can honestly say that if someone that I loved was permanently brain damaged by some “doctor” who was f’ing off like this while operating, I’d find a way to end such doctor...permanently and slowly. She just ended a life (yeah, there’s a living, breathing body, but it isn’t the same person), and did so in a wantonly and grossly negligent - even a criminal - manner. She doesn’t deserve prison, she deserves death.
As an aside, my Oral Surgeon father told me at the time of the “Bakke” decision that if I valued my life and my health, and that of my family, that I should NEVER use a doctor of a certain degree of tan-ness who was less than 10 years older than I was at any given point in time (I was 17 then). He said that those “tan” doctors older than that had a very hard time getting into college and med school, and were probably smarter than the average doctor...but that those admitted under quotas post-1978 would have a much higher chance of being the diametric opposite. He told me that this was the real shame of the quotas - that you could be dealing with someone who was brilliant, but that you could never be sure. The quotas tainted ALL of the “tan” people, which he said (and was right) was the greatest injustice imaginable.

The dancing and other antics took up quite a bit of time.
“That disgrace and poor excuse of a Doctor made it an issue by her actions.”
BTW, if she had been white - Hell, if she had been my sister or my wife - I’d say that she deserved to lose every cent she had, lose her license permanently, and be jailed (or executed). It is her ACTIONS that damned her, not the melanin in her skin.
But as long as there is Affirmative Action, there will always be the question of how a black person got their job.
Maybe it’s not fair, but there it is.

of their skin, but by the content of their character”.

Add in some time to refuel too.
Gotta have food to keep that energy up.
Please see post 36.
And sageburn you are a moron.
Yep.
There’s no excuse for that kind of dangerous idiocy.
