Oh, I think the media is the same as always. I just think they are being less successful now. People have other ways of getting information, some people are waking up, and the media looks silly doing what it has always done. But they don’t change their ways.
You are blind if you don’t see watch, observe, and read what the other side is doing. It’s simple basic warfare. Living in an echo chamber means ignorance and weakness.
Post 9/11, Bush would actually have had justification in having people look into Obama's connections to Islamic extremists.

I like what someone replied here on FR this morning. Since the spying was really for Trump’s own good; the ‘Rats surely won’t mind at all if the Pubs return the favor and put spies in every future ‘Rat campaign, just to be helpful. (My paraphrase).

May I remind you that you can “watch, observe, and read what the other side is doing” without re-publishing their lie as the source of the post. Lies aren’t defeated by repeating the lie. Lies are defeated by repeating the truth. As I said, find and publish the TRUTH about the lie. If a poster can’t be bothered to do that, then they shouldn’t post. If they’re going to be bothered to post, do it right.
May I also remind you that many on the Right in general and some on FR in particular are WAY too worried about what the Left is doing and saying.
We need to wage this war more like Patton who was laser-beam determined to implement his plans of conquest while still keeping abreast of what the enemy was doing. but he wasn’t too worried about what the enemy was doing becsue he’d defeat them before they could do it anyway.

Publishing an article that tells the truth about the lie isn’t “rigorous standards”. It’s common sense.
And the point isn’t my “ignoring the posts”. The point is by publishing the truth on FR, not the lies, and as much good news as possible, we bolster morale and strengthen the TRUTH. The endless stream of negative, lying headlines sabotages our purpose on FR. Some have said that when they first visited FR they thought it was another leftist site with all the streaming Lying Leftist headlines.
