To clarify, the Anthem WAS performed at the start of the day of playoff games. This is typical when there are multiple fields and games going on at the same time.

MANY years ago, I was umpiring an American Legion ball game and the “sound system”...a cassette player and microphone...failed to work. It didn’t take five seconds before the small crowd of moms and dads began to sing.

To further clarify: Now it sounds as though they will do if before each game. :-)
