It’s not “they” but “we” who are paying him.
I’m actually in favor of the UN as a place for nations to get together and talk things through. There is little harm in that. But I am not in favor of all those UN agencies. They stick their noses into everything. And they love to preach to the West, and to the US in particular.
The UN as a meeting place? OK. The UN as a busybody Big Brother? Nope.
We should cut our UN contribution to ZERO, and excrete that misguided body from within our borders.
When they’re truly desperate, they’ll respond to one of those “help wanted” signs in almost every business that has an open door to hiring entry-level employees serious about entering the workforce.
Even so, in an economy that is booming, where anyone that wants a job can find one, it is only natural that those that refuse to have a job (or are homeless drug users) will have a larger margin between them and anyone with a job.
