Headline: Kim PURGES North Korean officials ahead of tense Trump summit

“No Kwang-chol, first minister of the Ministry of the People’s Armed Forces, has replaced Pak Yong-sik as defense chief, while Ri Myong-su has been replaced by his deputy, Ri Yong-gil. — UK Daily Star (06/04/18)

And ...

“Army General Kim Su Gil’s replacement of Kim Jong Gak as director of the KPA’s General Political Bureau was confirmed in a North Korean state media report last month when Kim Su Gil accompanied North Korea’s Kim Jong Un on a field guidance trip to A BEACH TOURIST ZONE with other officials.” — Reuters (06/03/18)

And ...

“According to a defector to South Korea who once served North Korea’s ruling Workers’ Party of Korea, this different and rarely seen side of Kim Jong Un featured in a documentary to educate party officials who lead the lowest rungs of the leadership apparatus or state-run enterprises.

“The video shows Kim Jong Un standing on AN UNSPECIFIED STRETCH OF COASTLINE gazing toward the horizon as tears trickle down his cheek. (Emphasis mine)

“A narrator explains that the North Korean leader is distraught over his inability to radically overhaul the economy to make the reclusive country a vibrant power.

“The defector learned about the video from a contact who remains in North Korea.” — Asahi Shimbun (05/30/18)

And just where might that unspecified stretch of coastline be? Just a guess:

“In the SEASIDE CITY OF WONSAN, North Korean families cook up barbecues on the beach, go fishing, and eat royal jelly flavor ice cream in the summer breeze. For their leader Kim Jong Un, the resort is a summer retreat, a future temple to tourism, and a good place to test missiles.” — Reuters (10/10/17)

You can’t sit on that much in rare earth metals and not want to be compensated. Yet that is what China, also rich in rare earth metals, has done to the Norks. Flipping nukes to the Iranians and the Pakis is chump change compared to what the global tech manufacturing industry would give the Norks for access to non-China controlled rare earth metals.
