The biggest export market for pork will be damaged and in turn our farmers and the economies in the Trump supporting Midwest will suffer.

Oh BS. There is a domestic market for all that pork and you know it. I am looking forward to lower pork prices and an economic benefit to my bottom line. IT WORKS BOTH WAYS. So if you are worried abort food inflation than you should be celebrating now!

I guess we lost the commercial pig farmer vote.... LOL!

Your pork prices aren't going down. Instead, the Federal government will buy the votes of those pork producers by imposing a DOE mandate to put pork in our gasoline.

I'm only half joking. You watch.

Don’t laugh too hard. The commercial hog farmers and associated industries are huge in terms of votes and contributions in certain states like, oh let’s just say Iowa for example . If you hurt that voting block , you may not get the turn out necessary to carry that state in 2020.

There won’t be lower pork prices. There will be “dumping” of pork products to keep the supply at certain levels. Those commercial pig farmers and commercial pig part processors have a lot of influence on the Hill. You might not care but they will dang well make sure Congress cares.
