Jeff Sessions Delivers: DOJ Nails Senate Intel Committee’s Security Chief as Deep State Leaker
Breitbart ^ | June 7, 2018 | Ian Mason

Posted on 06/08/2018 5:36:59 AM PDT by PapaBear3625

Senior Justice Department officials announced late Thursday criminal charges against Senate Intelligence Committee’s long-time director of security James Wolfe.

The indictment charges Wolfe with making false statements to the FBI and details how Wolfe passed classified information, including presumably information related to one-time Trump campaign aide Carter Page, to a series of media outlets, confirming long-standing suspicions of the career intelligence community’s complicity in leaks. The three-count indictment charges Wolfe with separate instances of making false statements to the FBI, not directly charging him for leaking classified information, but appearing to detail how he did allegedly leaked classified information to reporters and then allegedly lied about it to the FBI.

Because we all know what was going on between them behind closed doors.

Sure he is since we have documented evidence of the conversations they had behind closed doors.

“confirming long-standing suspicions of the career intelligence community’s complicity in leaks.”

I know dozens of them (hell, I was one for years) - most are patriots, but many have the “You can’t HANDLE the truth!” attitude by which they justify sabotaging the process. And they don’t even see that they’re considering themselves above the law.

Thanks for your comments.

I don’t have time to follow too closely regarding the two sides on FR as far as Sessions.

Going back years, he wasn’t part of the GOPe before, or was he? And if he’s seen as part of The Swamp, has he always been, or was he compromised in some way?

But, with obvious spies in the Trump Campaign, I can see how he might have been a GOPe plant from the get-go.

However, I have a bit of hope that Sessions has been tight-lipped and it’s all about to come down on the Deep State.

Again, that’s my hope, but if he’s guilty of what others believe, he should pay the price for his treachery against President Trump and the United States.

"Then why wasn’t Clapper indicted for perjury before the statute of limitations ran out???"
Statutes of limitation usually have exceptions to extend the time, such as a reasonable effort to discover the crime earlier was hampered by additional perp's actions to hide them. Need more Republican judges to make that happen.

There might be some reason they did not charge the major count because to do so would mean they would have to disclose the content of what was revealed and how it was a violation of the espionage act. Or this clown was cornered and they charged him with the less offense because he is cooperating. Sometimes the tactic is to indict and send him out wired for conformation from those also involved.

Last night on Hannity or Carlson, Ron Desantis mentioned there was an indictment in the works but he could not speak about it. He obviously was aware of it Which to me means there was probably a lot of uncomfortable clowns up in DC yesterday. I’d love to see both Warner and that POS Burr strung up.

“Are you capable of measuring the size of fish?”

I’m interested. It was simply a question for clarification as to your thoughts.

Yes, even though I’m a girl, I know about small fish. Sometimes they’re used to catch big fish.

I think we will see bigger charges — unless he sings like a nightingale.

I read on another thread today that the Feds also scooped up all the journalists' notes....

So expect a few more clangers to drop.

Also postulated that Wolfe was run by Feinstein.

Sessions was staunchly illegal immigrant in the Senate. Yet his one vote never changed diddly squat. Conservatives oohed and aahed, while the Senate passed amnesty by a huge margin.

The AG is the first job Sessions has had in decades where he didn’t have 99 swampers giving him cover. At the DOJ Sessions’ lone vote is the decider.

So what did he do? He immediately recused [without giving Trump even a five minute heads up] and placed pro-Hillary Trump-hater Rosenstein in charge. These are not the actions of an honorable man. These are the actions of a backstabber.

The Mueller witch hunt is Sessions’ biggest and most lasting legacy. If Jeff cared about Trump and Trump’s supporters, he’d have resigned long ago. Trump deserves better than to be endlessly hounded, harassed, undermined and threatened by psycho Mueller. Sessions has failed us all at the most crucial juncture, and that is a disgrace.

Sometimes they’re used to catch big fish.

Very true. But that does not change the fact that this guy is small
fish. I am certainly hoping he leads to bigger fish.
Maybe he was instructed to leak by one or two committee members.
If so, that would be bigger fish. Big delicious fish.

This fairytale that the statute of limitations for Clapper was allowed to expire so that he could be charged sometime down the road is without foundation. There is zero evidence to support it.

The NY Times PAID their reporter to have "relationships" with this guy so as to gain access to secret information. The Old Gray Lady is complicit in treason. AND, all the fake news channels readily report what this treasonous paper writes and thus colludes with them in this crime.

It would appear that the Trump EO of December 21st would apply in this case.

And who has a big stake in NY slimes...

Why Carlos Slim who is big in Cementex.

Where does it say anything about Sessions being involved at all?

People seem to forget that Sessions has recused himself from all things Trump and Hillary related...He may still not even know this investigation and arrest took place...

Jeff Sessions Delivers: DOJ Nails Senate Intel Committee’s Security Chief as Deep State Leaker

So what is Sessions' DOJ "delivering"?

Looks to me like a Democrat Intelligence Committee staffer, Wolfe, who lied about leaking information to a McClatchy reporter, Wakins.

Watkins then wrote a story about John Brennan's CIA breaking into Intelligence committee computers, which ultimately lead to John Brennan having to apologize to the committee for spying on their computers.

Probe: Did the CIA spy on the U.S. Senate?

Quite a tangled web. But the bottom line is that the illegal leak ultimately lead to John Brennan being embarrassed.

Just pointing that out.
