Any Amnesty bill is going to get vetoed by Trump, which doesn’t hurt him a bit, in fact it probably helps him with his base.

I don’t think there is a veto proof majority in the House or the Senate for such a bill. Democrats in vulnerable districts wouldn’t vote for it.

Am I wrong?

You are not. Another point is that any bill would have to be approved by the Senate which, given the Blowhards in that body, won’t give them enough time to preen before the CSpan cameras.

You’re right....

On the first go around Trump spoke to them about what he expected in a DACA/immigration bill. They presented him with a sheet of used toilet paper. He nixed it. I expect him to do the same if the bill doesn’t include wall funding, end of chain migration, end of lottery, merit based legal immigration, etc......
