I liked watching Bourdain’s Shows, both the earlier Travel Channel ones and the recent CNN ones. His way of talking and his mannerisms mirrored a Friend of mine who recently passed away. I found the similarities uncanny.

That being said, I marveled how Bourdain was loved by Liberal types, even after he slaughtered two Pigs on Camera, one using a Pistol and the other being stabbed to death. (The episode where a Lamb (or Goat) was slaughtered with a Knife never showed the gruesome details, just the Feast afterwards)

The same folks who had no issue with Bourdain’s participation in Animal Slaughter were the same ones who were repulsed by watching Sarah Palin and her Family out Hunting on her short lived Outdoor Show.

Liberals always want their $$$ but want to take everyone else’s and give it to whim they think deserves it...but they deserve their own, and are exempt from their beloved communist principles. Arrogant, hareful elitists.

It’s just such hypocrisy. Che Guevara hero, Donald Trump, dangerous killer. And if you are one of the Gullibles, logic has left the building and you BELIEVE THIS BALONEY.

Bourdain was like the "cool" guy or girl in school. He might have been wrong about things and might have been a real jerk, but he made things lively and interesting.

Sometimes the attractive thing about the "cool" person is their ironic attitude or put downs. You might not want to be that person's friend for fear that he or she might make you another victim, but it was certainly possible to appreciate the humor and find it refreshing from a distance.

One of the things that made Bourdain interesting was he didn't wholly correspond to the stereotypes. He was bit of a snob, but not entirely. Maybe time spent washing dishes made it harder for him to fit into the yuppie stereotype.
