The Seven Nuttiest Things Nancy Pelosi Has Said This Year
Townhall.com ^ | June 17, 2018 | Scott Morefield

Posted on 06/17/2018 4:49:28 AM PDT by Kaslin

Sure, she’s always been a little nutty, but over the years House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has gradually shifted from liberal feminist icon to everyone’s batty “a little bit out of it” aunt who knows just enough words-about-political-stuff to be dangerous.

So in the spirit of hoping Pelosi is still up for fighting for her old speaker’s gavel come November, here are the five craziest things Nutty Nancy has said in 2018 alone. (Why just this year, you ask? Because I only have one column, not a book!)

“A nuclear bomb in your pocket.”

Pelosi told reporters on Wednesday that it “pays to have a nuclear bomb in your pocket” when negotiating with President Trump, apparently referring to his recently smashingly successful summit with North Korea Kim Jong Un.

“So, again, we all hope and pray that diplomacy works, for sure,” Pelosi stammered. “But this is deadly serious. And I guess the one thing I would say is they — they complained about the Iran agreement. And they have what? You know they come home with this and say, ‘Oh, it’s all over.’ But I’ll tell you this, it’s a real lesson to any country, if you’re going to negotiate with Donald Trump it pays to have a nuclear bomb in your pocket, because that is what will increase your negotiating power.”

Um, what?

The rest of the statement is just as illegible, a sentiment shared by many including Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro, who tweeted, “It’s time for this woman to call it a day and go home.”

But Pelosi isn’t likely to go gently into that San Francisco night. No, this California raisin indeed has designs on getting that speaker’s gavel back, even if it costs her party the midterms.

“Hip hip horay, unemployment is down. What does that mean to me in my life?”

Yeah, this one was so crazy even Donald Trump Jr. tweeted a flabbergasted, “She actually said that.”

Here’s the quote: “Unless we have a very significant increase in wages and bigger paychecks, we are going to increase the frustration of America’s families because they’ll be saying, ‘Hip hip hooray, unemployment is down. What does that mean to me in my life? I need a bigger paycheck.' That’s the apprehension American families have had for a while.”

“Doggie doo”

When asked in January about the Republican plan for short-term CHIP funding, Pelosi compared it to … eating doggy poop.

No, I’m not kidding.

“This is like giving you a bowl of doggie doo, put a cherry on top and call it a chocolate sundae,” said Pelosi. “This is nothing.”

A creative comparison to be sure, from a woman who regularly looks like she’s just tasted the stuff.

The “spark of divinity” in MS-13 members

Who could possibly forget this gem from last month in response to Trump’s “animals” characterization of MS-13.

“Some of us who are attracted to the political arena, to government and public service” believe that “we are all God’s children” and “there is a spark of divinity among every person on earth, and we all have to recognize that as we respect the dignity and worth of every person,” said Pelosi, insisting that since we have “divinity in us” we need to recognize the same in MS-13 members, or something.

“So when the president of the United States says about undocumented immigrants, ‘These aren’t people, these are animals,’ you have to wonder, does he not believe in the spark of divinity, the dignity and worth of every person?”

Hey Nancy, how about you put your money where your mouth is and hire a few of these “divinity” sparked MS-13 angels to help you around your mansion when you retire?

Speaking of divinity…

The “hypocrisy” of people of faith for agreeing with immigration law enforcement

Remember that time, just last week, when Holier-Than-Thou-Pelosi tried to criticize Attorney General Sessions and other people of faith as hypocrites for wanting law and order at the border?

“The very hypocrisy of the Attorney General to quote the Bible, the hypocrisy of all people of faith in our country not to clamor for what the administration is doing to end — whether it’s to deprive the dreamers of the respect they deserve or whether its taking babies away from their mothers and fathers,” said Pelosi. “For this administration to pose as people of faith and pose as people who care about family and children is of a height of hypocrisy that knows no bounds.”

First of all, for a liberal Dem like Pelosi to even think of bringing up faith and Christianity as a bludgeon is pretty hilarious on its face. Not to be all judgy, but this woman wouldn’t know a Christian from a Hare Krishna. How about the unborn, Friar Nancy? Do they deserve protection too? How about the criminal victims of illegal aliens? How about simply obeying the law?

So, we’re to believe Nancy doesn’t believe in any parents of minors going to jail or prison, no matter what they do?

Uh, nevermind, don’t answer that...

“Strong employment numbers mean little…”

“May’s jobs report shows that strong employment numbers mean little to the families hit with soaring new costs under the Republicans’ watch,” Pelosi wrote in a statement early this month, referring to the strongest job numbers yet under the Trump administration.

Put it this way, if every person in America had a mansion and a $100,000 per year job, Pelosi and other liberals would STILL complain about it if it happened under President Trump. Seriously, does anyone in their right mind honestly think this woman wants what’s best for this country?

Crumbs…”

Ah, the ubiquitous “crumbs” comment. You thought I was going to forget that one didn’t you? Nope, I didn’t forget, and hopefully millions of midterm voters won’t either. Unless, of course, you want Madame Let-Them-Eat-Cake to be third in line for the presidency come January 2019.

“In terms of the bonus that corporate America receives versus the crumbs they are giving to workers to put the schmooze on is so pathetic,” Pelosi said in January, referring to news reports about employees getting bonuses as a result of recent GOP tax cuts. “And I would hope with their big advantage of bringing home at a very low rate that they would invest in infrastructure but our experience has been they will seek dividends and buy-backs. It is insignificant.”

Later, she doubled down:

“There’s a little mouse trap who’s got a little piece of cheese on there and there’s a mouse about to take it and that’s called the middle class. And around it are fat cats, they look a lot like elephants but anyway, around there. And that’s the thing. Get this little thing and we get this big bonanza. You get the crumb, we get the banquet.”

Thing is, Nancy Fancy Pants, $1,000 may be chump change to you, but it means a hell of a lot to those of us who work for a living. But keep talking, and we’ll keep mobilizing the vote.

The New York Times reports that “growing numbers of Democratic candidates” are beginning to see Pelosi as “politically toxic” and are “pledging to vote against her as their leader.” For the country’s sake, let’s hope the Democratic wing-nut wing prevails on this one. As hapless as some in our own party tend to be, we’re going to need all the help we can get!

She has every right to be proud of her district. Fine, upright, citizens of high intelligence. No homeless, no social problems in her district. A City, San Francisco, that sits on a hill and shines. Way to go Nancy?

PELOSI" “So when the president says about undocumented MS-13 immigrants, 'these are animals,’ why does he not believe in the dignity and worth of every person?”

Nancy oughta put her tolerance and compassion into action.

She should hire the divinely-sparked MS-13 angels to work in her office on Capitol Hill.

Or maybe in her Cali mansion.....surrounded by a wall.

I’m betting it will eventually come out that President Trump helped her win election way back when and ‘planted’ her where she is because he knew one day he would be President.

Yep. He’s THAT good, LOL!

(She’s certifiable!)

Do these idiots realize that "soaring costs" come largely from soaring minimum wage regulations?
