George HW Bush is apparently distantly related to Queen Elizabeth II.

Thanks for that chart. It's really clear about degree of cousins and what "once removed" means. Go back far enough, and I'd think just about everyone with northern European ancestry is related.

FWIW, DNA results combined with family legacy (even vague) and last names gets interesting. I'm like the Ancestry ad. My German is Scandinavian.
