No it's not.
You give them (I think it's 30 days) notice, with cause. And then they have to go.
They can appeal, but after 30 days, they will be sitting on the outside making their appeal.
All fine and good...BUT, with the endless support of the criminals that call themselves the "union", even if the appeal lasts several years, the perp will usually get get the job back with back pay and credit for unused sick time and leave time.
Result: just another theft of the taxpayers money!
Far more economical to follow jospehm20's advice: "They need to open a huge office in Nome, AK and send them all there."
