A dive team brought a fifth boy out of a cave in Thailand Monday and were working at lightning speed to recover his coach and seven soccer teammates still trapped underground a day after the first four boys were successfully evacuated in an international rescue mission that has gripped the attention of the world.

The latest rescue was completed just after 5 p.m. local time, 6 p.m. Eastern time, a source close to the rescue operation said, about six hours after divers entered the jungle cave to resume the operation to save the remaining members of the soccer team that has now been in the cavern for 17 days.

Here’s the crux for me: I would click on those titles to see if it was someone I know or someone near me. If hot, I move on. So I knew about a cave story from a while ago because I read a headline. I clicked on this one because I thought, “Is that thing still going on?” I should not have posted here. I’m sort of a party pooper. Sorry. :(

No, you’re fine!

There are dozens of viewers, I am sure, that thought about it the same way you did and they are relieved to see they are not the only one.

You were honest and asked good questions which allowed people to describe more, post photos, graphics, etc. Some people were more informed than you, but that’s expected.

My bet is there were lots of people watching your questions and responses, and feeling relieved to know they are not alone in not knowing what this story is all about.

Thanks! Side note: I have pictures turned off in my browser. The way FR displays, if there are pictures, I have no clue that they are even there. :)

If this article is true he did not take them into the cave, he went in to look for them when their families became concerned.

Either or the coach led them to dry ground as none could swim.

These photos are gripping. Just the feet of one of the divers shows the pain and suffering all must be experiencing knocking about on jagged rocks against or pushed by rushing water. Thank heavens for the “cassette” for the boys to be carried in. Perhaps that is how the weakest will survive this last day (probably just beginning over there)? The news is that weakest go last. Prayers for all.

Hard to find photos as media was basically cut off from recording the rescue. Glad for the ones found...

Mae Bua Chaicheun is a rice farmer. Her rice paddies were destroyed by the 130million liters of water pumped from the cave in the rescue mission. Her response:”Children are more important than rice. We can regrow rice but we can’t regrow the children.”

Heroes all-——when you think of what these brave guys do-——and then you visualize the masked Antifa wimps making trouble-—there is ZERO comparison.

These are REAL men.

This is Ivan Karadzic, another one of the team of divers with the international rescue team. He was stationed at a notoriously difficult stretch of cave about half-way along, and his job was to replace air tanks and help guide the team. He is Danish.

Other teams that aren’t mentioned often:

- The oxygen tank team. They have to work all 24 hrs
- The air compressing team. They have to work continuously. (Some had tinnitus because the machine is really loud)
- The PEA team. They control all the electric system

I can’t help but think how many Weserners would be looking to sue had that been their flooded farm.

Too quite on twitter and other news sources.....expecting this last group to possibly have the weakest to bring out as the strongest went first as I understand it. Elons sub is ready if needed.
