The Founders absolutely did NOT think all citizens should be enfranchised, that’s why there is no right to vote in the Constitution.

I left out one word - “eligible”, and I did not say “should be enfranchised”. If you add rhe word I missed - eligible, and remember I said “should vote”, and that is all I said, the distinction between what I said and the colonial era is in who was eligible.
