"The outcome of that change in policing has been a lot more crime in Baltimore, especially murders, and people are getting away with those murders."

"Police officials acknowledge the change. "In all candor, officers are not as aggressive as they once were, pre-2015. It's just that fact," says acting Police Commissioner Gary Tuggle."

Cops in Baltimore have been caught stealing from arrestees and planting guns on them. Not exactly setting the example. But typical of a city run by people who don't care. I'm sure this happens at other locations, but the townspeople don't care, because they are never the ones pulled over.

This happens in society overall. Just look at the FBI and such. Lots of people thought they did a good job. But, the veneer comes off and people pay attention. Even though the FBI has failed for decades.

The major tourist zone at the Inner Harbor isn’t too far from the bad neighborhoods, from what I’ve been told, and people were scared to go there.

Attacks are now frequently happening at the Inner Harbor. The Baltimore hierarchy and the Press are trying to keep much of it silenced because tourism is already tanking.

I hate it when I have to go there for family. Not the family the state. Very stupid anti 2A laws. Like so many states, remove Montgomery county (DC) and Baltimore and it would be red.
