Yea, well, if they don’t want to get wet they shouldn’t live on the water. Tough luck.

In the article it does mention some have moved to the ‘high ground’ and there is a Ship standing by to assist - if able.

What was the ‘joke’ after New Orleans about how

‘God must have a sense of humor’ -build a city below sea level in a hurricane belt and fill it full of Liberals.

(And have the trillions of bucks to maintain the levees and dikes just line peoples pockets and went to the ‘wrong’ dikes — Never a ‘Dutch Boy’ around when he is needed)

I wonder if that’s a polar bear skin hung out to dry? Do they inhabit Western Greenland?

"I once heard someone in Greenland say they’d like to rent a car and drive from town to town. The locals fell over laughing, because the only way to get from place to place is to fly or take a boat. Air Greenland is an excellent airline that covers virtually every inhabited corner of the island. Keep in mind: Greenland is not just expensive. It’s very expensive. A 15-minute flight may cost you $500, and a no-frills hotel room might cost over $400 per night, depending on where you are. If you want to sail up and down the more populated west coast, the Arctic Umiaq Line runs from Ilulissat to Qaqortoq in the south during the ice-free summer. Facilities and cabins are basic, but the views are unbeatable."

See #10 photo. It looks like that polar bear is really stranded for good.

Thanks. I didn’t go deep in the article, obviously. “:^)

That and a few other jokes about the situation in New Orleans were cutting edge, but actually pretty accurate.

Some of the money they got for the levees was spent on other things.

I was on backpacking in the High Sierra. Shepherd’s Pass.

I camped next to a small lake. It had a big chunk of ice on the other side, over hanging the water.

In the middle of the night I heard a great cracking sound, almost like lightning.

About a minute late the tsunami hit my side of the lake with a big rushing sound.

It was really neat!

I am too old to ever go there again, which saddens me.
