And in this instance, having a gun with a 15 round mag probably made the difference. He fired 31 rounds. That’s two full mags plus the one in the pipe in the beginning.
Btw, it was the suspect driver who exited the vehicle at the end of the vehicle pursuit and ran up the stairs and it appears he survived. It was the passenger who was shot dead after the passenger attempted to get into the driver seat.
