A former Ukip councillor told police he had “been a naughty boy” after he killed his wife.
Ex-Royal Marine Stephen Searle, 64, is facing a life sentence for murdering his wife Anne Searle, 62, after he had an affair with their son’s partner.
Searle claimed he had been defending himself after Mrs Searle attacked him with a knife, but jurors at Ipswich Crown Court took three-and-a-half hours to find him guilty of her murder.
The former Ukip politician showed no reaction as the verdict was read out on Tuesday following a six-day trial.

It means shackup or spouse.For some reason the Brits and the Aussies don't use the words husband or wife.

Im not for adultery either, but none of you would be okay with a guy attacking his wife for cheating on him.
And you are totally okay with women attacking men for adultsry or just slaping them whenever. Men defending themseles from an attacking woman and her taking injuries from tht defense, nope you cant handle that.
Get your nose out of the comic books! This sort of thing happens all the time! Hollywood is rife with it. Look up "Gloria Grahame" or "Morgan Freeman."
