Like many of her other Never Trump confederates, whose anger at President Trump’s success (without their help) led them to lash out at powerless voters, Jacobus, who once worked as a Republican campaign consultant, repeatedly attacked everyday Republican voters as “stupid” and “racist” during the 2016 presidential election. So she's another "republican", like Comey.
