The Trump admin won't meaningfully "reset" relations until Russia drastically changes their evil ways. And I seriously doubt that will happen under KGB/FSB Putin. His goal is to basically restore the evil empire, and then-some with eventual control of the strategic oil/gas-rich Middle East.
