Disney is buying the content.... the Movie Studio and the TV production and all the content... but look closer and Fox is keeping much more than is being discussed. Comcast offer was all smoke, just trying to make Disney pay more... everyone knows the Murdochs hate the Roberts (Comcast)....they would never sell to Comcast.
I think media is a special case, because of their ability to influence opinions and the culture.
Just look at how the perception towards homosexuality changed in the last 50 years....that’s all the media’s doing.

It's my understanding that Disney is NOT buying the news assets... they are mostly getting the 20th Century Studio. The broadcasting will be a left-over stub. Also up for separate bid is the control of BSky-B.

I don’t have the visceral grumpitude about Disney or Star Wars that appears here so often. My disappointments with both are few. (My expectations of some were low and my attendance thereto was proportionally slight.)
